Pranayama, the 4th limb of yoga, is the art of using breathing techniques to access the Life Energy that is Prana.

These 5-day immersion classes explore how we receive and experience Prana through each of the Kosas. Each class includes philosophy, anatomy, practice effects, alignment/posture for practice, and a led practice. The daily Pranayama practice provides students with the familiarity and skills to develop a regular home Pranayama practice based on daily needs and energy and available time. Upon completion, students will have a suite of Pranayama practices available for home practice.  Home practice segments begin at 5 minute duration and increase from there. Pranayama I focus is on the Ujjayi and Viloma pranayamas foundational to the more advanced practices taught in Pranayama II.
