Weekly Mindfulness 

Welcome to “Evolve,” the weekly livestream mindfulness practice exclusively designed for Yoga for Mental Health members and on demand “Evolve” course participants. These meetings serve as a gateway to explore the transformative power of the Four Foundations of Mindfulness. They will enlighten and support beginners as well as longtime mindfulness practitioners. 

Within this sanctuary of self-discovery, you’ll embark on a journey guided by experienced teachers, delving into the essence of mindfulness. The Four Foundations of Mindfulness are the pillars that will hold us. They are: 

  • Mindfulness of the Body: Explore the sensations, movements, and intricacies of your physical form. Develop a deeper connection with your body, fostering awareness and appreciation for its wisdom and rhythms.
  • Mindfulness of Preference: Mindfulness of preference” involves observing our natural inclinations without attachment or judgment. It’s about being aware of our instincts and preferences, understanding them without letting them control our actions, allowing us to respond consciously rather than reactively in different situations..
  • Mindfulness of the Mind: Enter the landscape of thoughts, observing the patterns and fluctuations of the mind. Develop the skill to witness thoughts as they arise and pass, fostering clarity and a sense of inner peace.
  • Mindfulness of Phenomena: Expand your awareness to the broader experience of life itself. Engage with the world around you, acknowledging the interdependence and interconnectedness of all things.

“Evolve” is more than just a practice; it’s a community of individuals dedicated to deepening their understanding and application of these Foundations. Through consistent practice and the support of like-minded peers, you’ll not only learn but also embody mindfulness, nurturing personal growth and well-being.

Join us in this sacred space, where the Foundations of Mindfulness are not just teachings but a way of life. Let us embark on this transformative journey together, evolving towards a more mindful, balanced existence.
